Get ready for a healthy and vibrant you!

Ayurvedic home remedies are a blend of commonly used herbs and spices to cure common symptoms and diseases. According to Ayurveda all the home remedies comprise of mostly the things that have their usage in homes and have multifarious medicinal usage also. Few such substances are clove, cinnamon, black pepper, cumin, fennel, rock salt, turmeric, coriander, ginger, honey, licorice, garlic, onion, basil and mint.

The home remedies and recipes that I am going to share with you are given by various renowned Ayurvedic doctors, Dr. Pankaj Naram and Dr.Smita Naram to name a few. I am not a certified doctor or a nutritionist: the only aim of my blog is to share with you some powerful ancient secrets of Ayurveda given by the doctors mentioned above. I am a firm believer of Ayurveda and have benefited a lot from the same. Incorporating few dietary and lifestyle changes can work wonders for you! The aim is to treat and rectify the 'root cause' rather than treating the disease or illness itself through these simple home remedies.

I hope these easy-to-do home remedies will help you to live a better and healthy life.

Hey Ne,

Thanks for the very informative post!! I'm sure it will be very beneficial to all of us.

I have one question : how long does it take to witness the effects of Ayurvedic medicines? Are the effects noticeable in days/weeks/months?

Hey Madhura,

It depends on the severity and intensity of the symptom/ailment being treated. According to Dr.Naram it takes around 2-3 months to get high blood pressure, cholesterol, obesity in normal ranges. It might take more time for serious or chronic ailments like cancer, etc. To enure if the home remedies are working for you or not, you can schedule an appointment with your physician or perform necessary tests to see if your condition is indeed improving.

Hope this helps! Please feel free to drop in more queries/concerns regarding Ayurveda.
